Dear Supporter

Once again it is that time of year to ask for your support with our annual Sponsored Walk event To help us raise additional monies for SAFE Supporters association funds and Altrincham F.C.

The walk will take place on the morning of Saturday 30`" March 2002 before Altrincham's Home fixture with Burscough, and will cover a route from Maine Road ( Man City F.C) Via Old Trafford ( Man Utd F.C) to Moss Lane ( Altrincham F.C) a distance of 10 Miles.

Over the Last 2 years this event, has been a great fund-raiser for the Supporters Association, with over £ 2000 being raised each year, but you will all have no doubt read Mark Harris's article in the match programrne and local press about the continued financial difficulties the club presently finds itself under, it's events like this which give the football club some vital revenue during the close season when there is no income generated through the turnstiles / bar etc: so hopefully this year we can continue in our efforts to raise as much needed funds as possible, to assist our Football club.

Please return all completed sponsor forms and monies A.S.A.P. after the walk to the SAFE hut in the ground on Matchdays or the Football Club offices during the week, or post or give us a call to arrange for collection.
