Creditors write off debts

THREE of Altrincham FC's creditors have written off money owed to them by the club.

Former director Dave Tracey, manager Graham Heathcote and director Grahame Rowley have all instructed the club to cancel liabilities, which formed part of the club's crippling debt.

Tracey wrote to the club in March, instructing them to remove the amount of his loan from their liabilities, adding that he hoped "other creditors would follow this example".

Also, manager Graham Heathcote has written off money owed to him from a previous contract which covers his time as Bernard Taylor's number two.

Finally Rowley has also decided to convert a previous loan into a donation.

Speaking earlier this week, Heathcote said, "Hopefully, it will snowball from here. People say they love this club this is a chance for those owed money to show it."
