  SUMMARY
  Altrincham's lowest home crowd for some time, just 211, witnessed an entertaining game in which Hyde took the lead just before the break and Altrincham responded with the equaliser, just before the end of the match. After an even first-half, Hyde dominated the first twenty minutes of the second period before Altrincham rallied strongly to merit the draw.

  TEAM NEWS
  Altrincham took the opportunity to field a number of non-regulars to give rests to Gary Talbot, Adam Farley and Steve Hawes amongst others. Steve Morgan, who had been on trial at Altrincham in September made an untrumpeted debut at left-back, whilst Barry Crowe came in at right-back. Morgan spent the latter part of last season in Hull City's first team. Sixteen year-old Mario Daniel made his first start, up front, after his recent substitute appearances. Danny Murphy was missing, presumably injured, but Alex Hay and Mark Ward who were also substituted on Saturday at Bishop Auckland were both in the starting line-up for this match. Transfer-listed Leroy Chambers made only his third start of the season and Mark Maddox took over from Talbot as captain. Stuart Scheuber, a substitute here, now becomes the only player to have been involved in every Altrincham game this season. Hyde fielded a strong side with Simon Yeo showing no signs of his recent fall from scaffolding.

Fed up with trying to take pictures under the lights and in the rain I decided to undertake a photographic experiment. As my flash is only effective to about 10 feet I decided to do with out it and see what happens. The results were poor, while the light was OK  an increased exposure time is required and any movement of the subject produces a poor photograph. I think I will have to give up trying to take pictures in these conditions.

	James Glendenning  beats a diving Graham Bennett with a fierce shot in injury time for his first goal for the Club to equalize the score. While the photo's not much good at least it was a goal!
