ALTRINCHAM FC’S rapidly expanding band of exiled supporters will be sponsoring the match ball for the match against Hyde United on Saturday April 28.
The exiles co-ordinator is Oxfordshire based Jacqui Forster who will be one of 10 long distance supporters attending the game.
One sponsor, residing in Pakistan, can't make the game and has donated his place in the sponsors lounge to young handicapped supporter Andrew Guilfoyle.
Andrew, from Wilmslow is a Moss Lane regular with his father, who will also be joining the sponsors. The club are creating a special ramp to allow Andrew's wheelchair access to the lounge.
Jacqui, who works for Vale of White Horse Council in Oxfordshire, said "The exiles are in constant touch by e-mail.
The club's supporters association - SAFE - has even created a special exiles branch.
Jacqui added that the Robins enjoy support from all over Britain, with fans in such paces as Musselburgh, Norwich, Somerset and Leeds, as well as abroad.
