The last home game of the season against Hyde united

Traditionally a number of events occur on the last day of the season. These are illustrated below

Here is the start of the walk, which is about 10 miles long and goes from Maine Road to Old Trafford then to Moss Lane . Thanks Neil for the names

The pitch was almost flooded overnight and it was only through the hard work of Peter Barry and his team that the match was played. Here the stewards are moving the covers - bit like Wimbledon
Welcome visitor Kevin Ellison has a good laugh with physio Gary Thompson, who dislocated his shoulder in the friendly match  between Alty Supporter and Alty Vets is well on the way to full recovery but I suspect his playing days are over.
Fans have can have a say in the choice of next seasons strip. You can vote for your choice by ringing the Club on 0161 928 1045. However it will be a difficult choice as the orange shirt shown in the program was not on display and I believe the red and white strip is the new one for home games
The ball boys and girls who do a fantastic job. A report on the contribution they make is else where

Jason Gallagher is presented his award as 2nd runner up to the Player of the Season. Mark Eckersall, SAFE's representative on the Board and Peter Read, Chairman of SAFE  are behind Jason
Stuart Coburn receives his award as runner  up to the Player of the Season
Captain Steve Hawes receives his award as Altrincham Player of the Season for 2001 
Last but not least a well dressed team were warmly applauded for their efforts on the field by a large group of supporters
